Customizing review request emails (advanced)
The Vital app allows you to customize the review request emails sent to customers after they place an order. This advanced feature helps you create engaging and personalized emails to encourage customers to leave reviews.
Steps to Customize Review Request Emails:
Log in to The Vital App:
- Use your credentials to log in.
Navigate to the 'Communication' Section:
- Once logged in, find the Communication section in the main menu.
Access 'Email Setup':
- Click on Email Setup under the Communication section.
- You will find the option labeled Review Request Emails.
Choose Your Email Type:
- In this section, you can configure two types of review-related emails:
- Review Request: Sent after the customer places an order, requesting a review.
- Review Reminder: A follow-up reminder email.
Edit the Email Template:
- To customize the email, click on the Edit button next to the desired email type (Review Request or Review Reminder).
- The default email template will open.
Customize the Campaign Details:
- You will see fields where you can input the following:
- Campaign Name: Name the campaign for your reference.
- Subject: Set the email subject that will be displayed to your customers.
- Select Template: In this dropdown, the default template will be selected, but you can choose Create New Template if you want to build a custom one.
Create a Custom Email Template:
- If you choose Create New Template, a drag-and-drop editor will open.
- You can drag and drop different blocks (text, images, buttons, etc.) to create your desired layout.
- Customize each block’s settings to match your brand and message.
Use Dynamic Variables:
- To make the email more personalized, click on See Variables. A popup will appear with available dynamic variables like:
- Store Name
- Customer Name
- Customer Email
- Currency
- You can insert these variables into your template to automatically populate customer-specific information.
Save Your Template:
- After customizing the email, click on the Save button to store your changes.
Send a Test Email:
- Before finalizing, you can send a test email to yourself or any email address by clicking Send Test Mail to ensure everything looks perfect.
Example:
If you want to create a review request email that includes a personalized greeting with the customer’s name, drag a text block into the email body, and add the variable {{customer_name}}. This will dynamically insert the customer’s name when the email is sent.
By customizing your review request emails, you can create a unique experience for your customers, encouraging them to leave reviews and engage with your store.
