Connecting SendGrid with The Vital app allows you to automate email campaigns and transactional emails. Follow these steps to integrate your SendGrid account with The Vital app using the API Key, Sender Email Address, Sender ID, and Suppression ID.

Steps to Log in and Integrate SendGrid:

1. Log in to The Vital App:

   • First, log in to your Shopify store.
   • In the Apps section, click on The Vital app, and you’ll be automatically logged in.
   • Alternatively, you can log in directly using your store URL, which ends with .myshopify.com.
     
     

2. Navigate to 'Integrations':

   • On the sidebar, under Settings & Customization, click on Integrations.
     
     
     

3. Select SendGrid Integration:

   • In the Integrations section, locate the SendGrid card and click Connect.
   • A popup will appear asking you to provide the following credentials: SendGrid API Key, Sender Email Address, Sender ID, and Suppression ID.
     
     

4. Get Your SendGrid Credentials:

   • Follow the steps below to generate your SendGrid API Key and obtain the other required details:

   Steps to Get SendGrid API Key:

   • Step 1: Log in to your SendGrid Admin Portal.
   • Step 2: Navigate to Settings, then click on API Keys.
   • Step 3: Click Create API Key.
   • Step 4: Name your API Key, check Full Access, and click Create & View.
   • Step 5: Copy the API Key.

   Obtain Sender ID and Suppression ID:

   • Sender ID: Go to Dashboard > Marketing > Senders, click on the three dots next to your sender, and get the ID from the URL.
   • Suppression ID: Navigate to Dashboard > Suppression Group > Unsubscribe Groups, then find your group and copy the Group ID.

5. Enter Your Credentials in The Vital App:

   • In the popup on The Vital app, provide the following information:
     • SendGrid API Key: Paste the copied API Key.
     • Sender Email Address: Enter the email address you use with SendGrid.
     • Sender ID: Enter the Sender ID obtained from the SendGrid dashboard.
     • Suppression ID: Enter the Suppression Group ID.

6. Verify and Complete the Integration:

   • After entering the required information, click Verify to confirm and complete the integration.
