Managing review requests effectively is crucial for gathering valuable customer feedback on your Shopify store. With The Vital, you can easily control when and how you send review requests to your customers. Here's how you can manage your review requests step-by-step:

1. Access the Vital Dashboard

  • First, log in to your Shopify store.
  • Navigate to the Apps section and click on The Vital app, which will automatically log you into the The Vital Dashboard.

2. Navigate to the Collect Reviews Section

  • From the dashboard, locate the Reviews section in the sidebar.
  • Click on Collect Reviews to manage your review requests. This section allows you to configure, schedule, and send review requests to your customers.

3. Scheduling Review Requests

  • In the Collect Reviews section, you have the option to schedule review requests for orders placed in the past or for future purchases.
  • Use the scheduling feature to automatically send emails to customers at a specific time after their purchase (for example, after product delivery or order fulfillment).
  • This ensures you ask for reviews when the customer has had a chance to use the product.

4. Send Review Requests Manually

  • You can also send review requests manually by clicking on the Send Mail button within the Collect Reviews section.
  • Select the customers you want to send a review request to from your order list, and send the email immediately.
  • This is helpful when you want more control over which customers receive review requests and when.

5. Customizing Review Request Emails

  • If you’d like to customize the email that is sent for review requests, navigate to the Communication > Email Setup section.
  • Under the Review Request Emails, you can edit the email template, modify the subject line, body text, and even create new templates using the drag-and-drop editor.

6. Tracking and Monitoring Review Requests

  • You can track the status of your review requests within the Collect Reviews section.
  • Review the list of orders to see which customers have already been sent a request, and which requests are pending.

7. Re-Sending Review Requests

  • If a customer hasn’t responded to the initial request, you have the option to send a reminder. In the Collect Reviews section, simply locate the customer order and click on the Resend Review Request button.

8. Test Your Review Requests

  • Before sending a large batch of review requests, you can send a test email to yourself to make sure everything looks good. Simply click on Send Test Mail within the email editor to ensure the content is accurate and properly formatted.
